Located at 6111 East Skelly Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma, The Eighth Floor is a collaborative effort between Tulsa Technology Center and Tulsa Community College as well as several public/private schools and higher education institutions.
Current Members
Activities on The Eighth Floor are overseen by an Advisory Committee that is chaired by The Eighth Floor Manager. Each participating consortium member has a representative on the advisory committee.
The Eighth Floor Advisory Committee is comprised of one member from each participating institution.
The Eighth Floor always welcomes new members! Fees for each educational institution are based on the number of full-time certified instructors employed (support staff are included for free).
Annual Dues Include:

Organizations with (99 or Less) Certified Educators
Organizations with (100 to 299) Certified Educators
Organizations with (300 +) Certified Educators

Annual membership provides employees with unlimited access to all of the Eighth Floor classes including: Microsoft Office Products, Photoshop, Web 2.0 Tools, Web Design, Smartboards, Student Response Systems, and much more!

Taking advantage of The Eighth Floor’s On-site Training Program is as easy as selecting the topics you would like to have presented at your site and providing the requested hardware and software. We do the rest!
The Eighth Floor On-site Training Sessions are intended to serve the professional development needs of schools throughout the consortium. While staff members are always invited to attend the workshops held in our facility, this is not always possible due to time constraints. For districts or schools needing on-site training, The Eighth Floor offers a low-cost solution to filling professional development needs.
Pricing: $30 per Training Hour (includes instructor and all curriculum)
The Eighth Floor recommends at least one month notice to prepare for on-site training and confirmation of on-site training is dependent on current calendar schedule. However, we encourage members to call and see if schedules are available.
Schools are also invited to “partner up” and share costs with other consortium member schools or districts in collaboration for guest speakers or special offerings. The Eighth Floor will be happy to facilitate this process and help locate facilities or arrange special events and promotions.
How to request on-site training:
To request an on-site training session, please contact The Eighth Floor immediately once training dates are available. On-site training is dependent on The Eighth Floor’s current calendar schedule. 918-828-5341
The facilities on The Eighth Floor are available for rental by consortium member institutions for free. Interested persons should contact their advisory committee representative so they may schedule a reservation.

The Eighth Floor is found on “the eighth floor” of the Skyline East building in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This professional, up-to-date facility creates an excellent environment for educational workshops and overall learning. The classrooms allow for workshops to run concurrently.
Located on The Eighth Floor, professionals will find:
an atrium area with 18 computer stations and flat-screen monitors
a large conference/classroom with seating for up to 45 people
12 seat computer lab equipped with laptops
conference room with seating for up to 10 people
a multi-media development center fully equipped for video capture and editing
wireless access allowing for laptop use anywhere on the floor
high-speed T1 internet connection
Non-members may rent a classroom (no instructor provided) for
$50 per hour or $250 for 6 hours.
The facilities on The Eighth Floor are available for rental by consortium
member institutions for free (as space allows).
